Build A Burger - Branding Proposal

The company I chose to rebrand is called Build A Burger. Build a burger is going to be a fast food burger restaurant in London, where from in the restaurant or from the comfort of your home you can customize a burger from a list of different options, then the food will be available to collect. (Build, Pay, Eat and Go). Their aim is to create a modern innovative concept that will make fast food not only interactive but also high quality, fresh and delicious. It is something that in the future it has the potential to be developed further and become a chain of restaurant.

The audience will be adults; both male and female aged 18-40 in London. It act as a lunchtime or evening meal for people who don't have time for a sit down meal. The overall vibe that the restaurant is that it will be modern, fun and friendly, creating classic burgers with the twist of being able to customise and built it yourself, making it very personal to the customers needs.

In my designs I have chosen fonts and illustrations that have a fun and friendly feel, but still look modern and avoid the problem of it looking childish. I chose a green colour scheme to represent freshness, which was a key value of the company.  Also chose a green colour scheme because I wanted to stay away from the reds, yellows and blues used in existing burger fast food restaurant. This is so that the logo can stand apart from its competition and not be confused with any existing logos.

The restaurant will be more of a higher end fast food restaurant as the menu includes more unusual ingredient than a typical burger restaurant. High-end fast food restaurants are something that is missing in the market, meaning it can appeal to a complete knew market of fast food eaters who want high quality in their food. They would stand out from a lot of the other fast food restaurants because their food offers a different eating experience to customise and build their food exactly as they want it; similar to subway, but it has not been done with a burger.

As it is just a small new company advertising will be very important to it succeeding, however money may be an issue. This is why I created a 1 colour additional logo that will be cheaper to reproduce in the early stages of the company.
