OUDG603 - Extended Practice Tutorial Feedback

Feathr

- Talk about why my Feathr design got selected last year, use it to think about what the judges are looking for.
- Discuss the limitations. How it can only be a certain zine, and how it needs to be CMKY and the problems this caused when the design is visible on the website.
- Target audience. Homeowners, stylish, art lovers who are willing to pay a little more.
- Include the idea generations and sketches in the design boards.

Ism

- Write a brief, state our personal aims and why we are doing it. Include more depth.
- Evidence why there is a need for it. Look into the number of current feminist zines and magazines.
- Research into contemporary feminist zines and magazines.
- Look and the mosh pitt zine andLady beard.

Make Out

- Work on the brief. Why do it? Why is there a need for it?
- Research the different tones of voices in beauty.
- Look at other magazines that started online, and why they move over to print. E.g. It's Nice That Printed Pages.

Overall I need to talk about the limitations of each brief and look into who it is aimed at. The tutorial with Simon was really useful and made me feel more confident in my work and blogging.

OUGD 603 - Brief 6, Feminism Zine

Below is some of the hand drawn type I was working on with the monotype brief. I scanned them in and Eva and I thought they would work well within the zine.
