Designing For Web Session

Limitations: 

• Designing for the lowest common denominator. e.g. iPhones have smaller, lower quality screens.
• 216 web safe colours.
• Web safe fonts. You need to specify the font family you want to use. Times is the default on computers. 
• Size, dimension and pixel resolution. 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 (best one to work with), 1920x1080, 2880x1800.
• File format. PNG, PDF, GIF, JPEG. The smaller the file size the quicker it loads. All the context of the website is downloaded to the computer you are using when you are browsing the internet.
• Images should be less than half a megabyte.
